Prime Minister Narendra Modi made comments over India-China LAC standoff. He said that "Neither have they intruded into our border nor has any post been taken over by them. 20 of our jawans were martyred, but those who dared Bharat Mata, they were taught a lesson".
After Congress leaders including former president Rahul Gandhi questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his “no intrusion in Indian territory” remark, the Centre issued a clarification saying attempts are “attempts are being made in some quarters to give a mischievous interpretation to remarks by the Prime Minister at the All-Party Meeting.
